Vision

My vision for this city is grounded in everyday life for everyday people here—every single day. I’m one of those everyday people. My family came here more than a century ago. My vision for this city is to evolve while staying true to the roots my ancestors set down.

I think being a successful mayor means looking forward, not back. It means making decisions that anticipate and account for the digital age we live in. We have to preserve our heritage and community, but we can’t use ideas from Y2K to tackle today’s 21st century problems. That’s my vision.

In my next term, I see a Gloucester where …

  • We keep refining our core city services for residents

  • We improve parking access downtown

  • We empower a more diversified business community

  • We create real relief for our entry-level and middle-class housing crisis, making it just that little bit easier for everyday citizens to live, work and play here

  • We successfully petition the state to allow public funds to repair eligible private roads

  • We raise the city’s bond rating to AA+

As your mayor, I have found and will keep finding ways to do whatever municipal government can do to move this city closer and closer to the place I envision. To make it just that little bit easier for everyday people to live, work and play here.

I’ve done much to move Gloucester forward. Let’s honor Gloucester’s legacy by holding our course on November 4, 2025.
